Since becoming an instructor at Southern Methodist University's Continuing and Professional Education program in 1998, Rob has taught over 2,000 students. He also offers photography workshops throughout North America. 

Rob has earned the degree of Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) by the Professional Photographic Certification Commission and is also an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. 

A member of the Professional Photographers of America, including the state and local affiliates, Rob was most recently awarded PPA Photographer of the Year - Silver for his entries in the PPA International Print Competition. Four out of four prints merited and one was included in the PPA Loan Collection.

Bob Malish

Bob Malish is a Senior Professional Products Specialist for Canon’s Consumer Imaging Group. With over 25 years at Canon in different areas of the industry. Bob has most recently seen the advent and explosion of all things digital, from input to output.

Bob began his career in photography as a photojournalist in Austin, Texas after graduating from the University of Texas, but now travels extensively with Canon working major media events, shows and teaching workshops addressing the photographic transition into the digital world.
